Construction
CNC machined from billet aluminium then anodised and painted.
All buttons and hardware are 316 stainless steel, providing superior corrosion resistance.
The FX3/FX30 housing is designed to be more ‘production-friendly’ than our other Sony housings, with quick release clips and a 2x M16x1 bulkhead for HDMI output for directors monitoring.
Grips
The housing is configured with a removable side handle on each side as standard.
Ports
Salty’s SIREN models offer a stackable bayonet port system for seamless and flexible lens changes.
The FX3 housing utilises the SIREN XL Bayonet Port System as standard.
The FX3 housing is not compatible with threaded Salty Legacy ports.
