Batched production also helps us reduce unnecessary waste, streamline our workflow, and supports a more sustainable build process. Ultimately, batch building ensures your housing is crafted with the focus and quality it deserves.

For longer missions and professional workflows, the Boosted housing adds internal space for a small V-Lock battery or power bank — giving your ZR extended runtime without breaking the seal. Optimised for the XL port system, it’s ready for wide domes, cine zooms, and all-day water shoots.

Camera Configuration

Our Nikon ZR housing is designed to work with Nikon ZR camera, with space for an additional V-Lock battery.

The V-Lock compartment is optimised for a FXLion Nano One battery, but can fit others of similar size.

The camera then receives power via a USB-C cable from the V-lock battery for extended run times.

 

Construction

Housing Body: CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminium. Grey Anodised for corrosion resistance.

Buttons/Hardware: Marine-grade 316 stainless steel.

 

Port Options

Salty’s SIREN models offer a stackable bayonet port system for seamless and flexible lens changes.

The ZR utilises the SIREN XL Bayonet Port System as standard.

Grips

The housing can be configured with a side handle on each side.

 

Paint

Our housings are anodised grey for corrosion resistance, however you also have the option of adding a highly durable two-pack paint finish.

The paint not only provides additional corrosion protection to your housing, but also provides an opportunity to customise the look of your housing.

You get to choose your colour(s)! And the options are almost endless.
