Batched production also helps us reduce unnecessary waste, streamline our workflow, and supports a more sustainable build process. Ultimately, batch building ensures your housing is crafted with the focus and quality it deserves.

Description

Built for surf, travel, and crash-cam applications, the Compact housing is the smallest, lightest way to take the Nikon ZR underwater. Designed around our XS port system, it’s streamlined for run-and-gun shooting, but fully adaptable to the XL port system for larger lenses.

Camera Configuration

Our Nikon ZR housing is designed to work with Nikon ZR camera, with no additional accessories.

 

Construction

Housing Body: CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminium. Grey Anodised for corrosion resistance.

Buttons/Hardware: Marine-grade 316 stainless steel.

 

Port Options

Salty’s housing models offer a stackable bayonet port system for seamless and flexible lens changes.

The ZR utilises the SIREN XS Bayonet Port System as standard, for a compact setup.

You can also use a XS to XL port adaptor ring if running larger lenses.

The housing can be configured with a side handle on each side.

 

Paint

Our housings are anodised grey for corrosion resistance, however you also have the option of adding a highly durable two-pack paint finish.

The paint not only provides additional corrosion protection to your housing, but also provides an opportunity to customise the look of your housing.

You get to choose your colour(s)! And the options are almost endless.
